SELECT (n=17,604, 3.3 years, non-diabetic overweight): semaglutide –20% major cardiovascular events. SURMOUNT-1: tirzepatide –20.9% body weight over 72 weeks. Side effects: nausea, gallstones, rarely pancreatitis.
