Hypoglycaemia with insulin/sulfonylureas; separate from thyroid medication; rarely insulin autoimmune syndrome.

SYDNEY 2 / NATHAN 1: 600 mg/day improved neuropathic symptoms. Meta-analysis: –1.3 kg body weight, small HbA1c drop.
