Privacy notice
Effective from 2026. szeptember 6.
This notice describes the processing of personal data on longevityatlas.hu (Longevity Atlasz) — an independent, trilingual knowledge base and protocol builder on the science of long, healthy life — pursuant to Article 13 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR).
1. The controller

3. The separate consents
Each consent below is asked for SEPARATELY, none is a condition of another, and each can be withdrawn on its own. Only the newsletter consent is required to subscribe.

4. Double opt-in and proof of consent
Subscription uses double opt-in: after you enter your address we send a confirmation e-mail, and you only join the list once you open the link inside it. Every consent event is logged separately with its timestamp, IP address, user agent and the verbatim consent text. This log is used solely to demonstrate consent.

We do not share your data with third parties other than the processors above, unless required by law.
Any transfer outside the EU takes place under the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses (SCC).
6. Retention
- Subscriber data: until you withdraw consent, or 3 years after your last activity.
- Consent log: 5 years after the consent ends (limitation period, accountability).
- Suppression list: indefinitely — this is what guarantees you receive no further mail.
- Unconfirmed (pending) sign-ups: deleted automatically after 30 days.
7. Your rights
- Access, rectification, erasure, restriction and data portability.
- Withdrawal of any consent, separately and at any time, with effect for the future.
- Objection to processing based on legitimate interest.

8. Remedies
You may lodge a complaint with the Hungarian National Authority for Data Protection and Freedom of Information (NAIH, 1055 Budapest, Falk Miksa utca 9-11., Hungary; ugyfelszolgalat@naih.hu; naih.hu), or bring the matter before a court.
